Did you know that a person that is in the early stages of Alzheimer's may not realize they have it. Additionally, not all people with memory loss have Alzheimer's. Often times forgetfulness is caused by stress, lack of sleep, or mixing of medications.. So don't panic! If need be, remember to go to a qualified physician for a confirmed diagnosis.

This book was so enlightening. It is extremely hard taking care of an elderly person. It is like a step by step guide. Also I happen to know the author, and she has taken such good care of her mother with Alzheimer, that her mother is almost the same person she was when she was younger. If you need help with a loved one, please read this book it will save you a lot of time instead of figuring things out yourself. Well written!

Think positive! Often times we here that a loved one that has ALZ is neglected or left out of conversations. Take this tip: It is imperative that you include them in all conversations and try to have direct eye contact with them. What they may not remember at "that" moment they may remember later.

My husband was diagnosed with this on September 6, 2019. He has had problems for 2-3 years. I am very anxious to read this book. Thanks for writing it.

I am so sorry to hear of your husbands illness but I think it is great that you have apparently caught it at the onset of the illness. I feel my book will help you learn ways to curb some of the "behavioral side effects" of the illness. In our family situation, my parent has had the illness for 20 years and is in their 90's! Please remember to work closely with your healthcare provider. In my opinion, the sooner the person with the illness gets on the medication, the better they are. My best to you and your family.
